Martin Horn – Founder and Director

South African born has been living in Switzerland since 1995. Has a Bachelor Degree in Sport Science and a Masters Degree in Sports Management. Has been working along side his brother Mike for the past 18 years, with great experience in youth outdoor education. Martin is married and has a twin boy and girl. Military background as NCO in the South African special forces parachute regiment. His hobbies are Mountain Biking and Road Cycling, Hiking, White water activities, Paragliding, Golf and Winter Sports.

Mike Horn – Ambassador & Expedition leader

South African born has been living in Switzerland since 1989. Mike has a Bachelor Degree in Sports Science. Mike is arguably the toughest modern day explorer of all times with an impressive list of exploits to his name. Mike is equally a renowned motivational and keynote speaker. Mike has two daughters and is the older brother of Martin. Military background as officer in the South African Special Forces. Mike is a professional explorer and lives for adventure. His specialty is everything that normal people think is crazy.

Jean Troillet – Ambassador & Guide

Swiss Born Jean Troillet is a professional Mountain Guide with up to date ten 8000 meter summits to his name, off course without the use of additional oxygen. Jean has been working along side the horn brothers for the past 20 years and has unsurpassed experience, knowledge and know-how of adventure sports and mountaineering. Jean is married and has three children, two of them being twins. His specialty is Mountaineering, Climbing, Hiking, Sailing and Winter Sports.

Fred Roux – Guide

Swiss Born Fred Roux is a professional mountain guide from Verbier. He has been working alongside the Horn Brothers for the past 11 years. His untiring energy and great passion for adventure and the outdoors is contagious and rubs off on everyone he meets. Fred has numerous exploits to his name including 4 x 8000 meter summits with Mike, off course without the use of additional oxygen. Fred is married and has two boys. His speciality is Mountaineering, Climbing, Paragliding, Hiking and Winter Sports.

Kobi Reichen – Guide

Swiss Born Kobi is a professional moutain guide from the Berner-Oberland region. Kobi has been working alongside the Horn Brothers for over 14 years. Kobi is avery experieced Alpiniste and Himalayiste with up to date seven 8000 meter summits to his name, off course without the use of additional oxygen. Kobi has one daughter. His special language a mix of Swiss German from the Bernese Oberland, French and English is well known as Kobish. His speciality is Mountaineering, Climbing and Winter Sports

Steve Ravussin – Ambassador & Skipper

Swiss Born Steve is a professional Sailor. Steve has been working alongside the Horn Brothers for over 20 years. Steve was the one who taught them how to sail. Steve has a series of solo and team open ocean sailing race victories to his name Steve is married and has one son. Specialty is Sailing, Paragliding, Winter Sports and Rally driving.

Claude-Alain Gailland - Guide

Swiss born Claude-Alain Gailland is a professional mountain guide from the Valais region. He has been working alongside the Horn Brothers for 23 years. An true adventurer with a list of expeditions to his name. in 2004 together with Sebastien Gay they become the first men to circumnavigate the border of canton Valais without any motorised aid, totalling 640km's, 330 summits, of which 18 over 4000 meters Alt. His speciality is mountaineering, rock climbing, Skiing and Cycling.
